Elon Musk pledged on Wednesday to bring Tesla to India “as soon as humanly possible” after having met personally with PM Narendra Modi, who urged him to make “significant investments.”[RT]
Musk said on Wednesday he was “trying to figure out the right timing” to make a move, which was canceled last year after a row over import taxes while revealing Modi was “pushing us to make significant investments in India.”
Musk also said plans to bring his SpaceX company’s Starlink satellite internet service to India were “quite likely” while insisting his Twitter platform would do its best to provide the “freest speech possible under the law” there.
