Another daughter of the late city businessman Henry Katanga, Martha Nkwazi, has been arrested and presented before the Nakawa Chief Magistrate's Court in connection with the murder of her father.
Martha Nkwazi was brought before the court on Wednesday afternoon, following a warrant of arrest issued earlier in the week by Chief Magistrate Erias Kakooza.
The arrest is linked to allegations that Nkwazi tampered with and destroyed crucial evidence related to her father's death on November 2, 2023.
The late businessman, Henry Katanga, met a tragic end on that fateful day, succumbing to a gunshot wound after an alleged altercation with his wife, Molly Katanga, at their matrimonial home in Mbuya.
The circumstances surrounding his death have been under investigation, and this recent arrest adds a new layer to the complex case.
