MP Cecilia Ogwal Last Words And Dying Wishes Revealed

An audio has emerged containing what the fallen Dokolo Woman MP and senior legislator Cecilia Ogwal said moments before breathing her last. Apparently, two of her close relatives had followed and unexpectedly turned up in her hospital room in India.

She told them several things including praising Health Minister Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng and Speaker Anita Among for firmly standing with her in her last days on earth. She makes it clear that the two leaders (who she fondly refers to as my daughters) worked hard to ensure her timely evacuation to India after she developed abrupt health complications.

She registers her gratitude that she (as a result of the two ladies’ efforts) had been able to regain her health totally recovering from the frightening state she was in moments before being evacuated from her Bugolobi home. She makes it clear she was unconscious and unable to walk by herself or even talk but after three days of specialized medication by her medical teams in India, she was able to regain both-her speech and ability to walk around unsupported.

In the same audio, the naturally very outspoken Cecilia Ogwal makes it clear that she was hopeful and certain that surviving members of her family, including those closest to her, will never lack anything relating to accessing the best medical care in the world as long as Aceng remains Minister of Health.

She casually adds that the amiable Lira City Woman MP should equally be able to ensure that her surviving family members access Malakwang (famous and popular delicacy among the Luos) in the appropriate quantities and quality whenever they need it.

As if she had premonition that her moment had come, Imat Cecilia Ogwal also mentions names of her two brothers (Alfred & Lawrence) who she decrees should take charge of everything to make sure everything goes well and family members remain united always. “You should stay strong because you are the pillars in that home,” she says in what some have since construed to be synonymous with a dying declaration.

In the same audio, Cecilia Ogwal says she got a bit frightened when some tests were done on her by the medical teams in India and unexpectedly revealed that she had ‘issues’ with her liver functionality. For the uninitiated, the liver is very important in a human’s body, especially for those under medication, because it’s the one which processes medicine once taken in to be able to have the desired effect on any disease or infection.

Imat Cecilia Ogwal uses words like “surprising discoveries which we don’t even understand [and] unanticipated things” in a bid to proclaim her consternation on being “abruptly” told that her liver wasn’t functioning properly. In the same audio, the former UPC Iron Lady implies this was a new development in her medical history and struggle to overcome disease and remain alive.

Rest in Peace Imat Cecilia Ogwal. You did your part, your best and loyally served Uganda, the country you called home and loved more than anything
