32 Killed, Scores injured in Egypt car crash

A tragic incident occurred in Egypt, resulting in the loss of 32 lives and leaving 63 individuals injured. 

The unfortunate event took place on the main desert road in the Beheira governorate, located approximately 132 kilometers north of Cairo, the country's capital. 

The collision involved multiple vehicles, including a bus, that were en route to Cairo. Reports indicate that the crash involved a total of 29 vehicles and took place in the town of Nubariya. 

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority had issued a warning about dense fog on the highways the day before the accident.

 According to police sources cited in the state-run Al-Ahram newspaper, the collision occurred when one vehicle experienced an oil leak, leading to a subsequent collision and some vehicles catching fire. 

The incident serves as a grim reminder of the importance of road safety measures in Egypt.
