About 7 killed in anti-UN protests in DRC's Goma

Around seven people lost their lives during protests in Goma, DR Congo. The demonstration, originally intended to be peaceful, escalated into violence against the UN Peacekeeping mission and other foreign organizations. 

The Congolese army reported that six protesters and one police man were killed, while the UN stated that the death toll was atleast eight, including two soldiers.

The clashes resulted in the arrest of 158 protesters. The incident occurred when some individuals, dressed in civilian clothing, attacked a policeman using sticks and stones.
