An unidentified creature with a skeleton that some say is similar to the mythical mermaid washed up on a beach on the Keppel Sands, in Queensland, Australia, leaving the internet baffled.
Pictures of the being seem to show a human-like skull and splayed-out ribs, with the OP stating it was approximately six-feet long and “exactly like a mermaid shape.”
“It had a human-shaped skull with an elongated jawline, and hair similar to the color of a cow or kangaroo, but with hair missing in many places due to decomposition,” OP Oates said. “It seemed to have a tail or a limb of some sort.”
