At least 50 Dead, 87 Injured During Mass Flooding In Pakistan

According to Pakistan's disaster management agency (NDMA), torrential rains in the country have resulted in the deaths of at least 50 people and left 87 others injured.

The heavy rainfall, which began in late June and has continued intermittently, has caused significant damage to residential properties and led to floods in Balochistan province, as well as disruptions to traffic on highways.

The NDMA also noted that 62 houses have been partially or fully damaged, and 15 animals have lost their lives due to the inclement weather. Lahore, in particular, experienced record-breaking rainfall, resulting in widespread flooding.
