Police in Luwero district are investigating a case of murder by stabbing which occurred on Wednesday 06/03/2024 at Namaliga West village Bombo parish Nyimbwa subcounty in Luwero district.
The deceased has been identified as Orishaba Annet aka ketti aged 29yrs old, a mukiga by tribe, a sex worker at Brothel bar and resident of the above address.
Preliminary findings indicates that on 06/03/2024 one Orishaba Annet was on duty at Brothel bar of Kabogozza Mustafa Alias Musunda in Bombo town council, it's alleged that the deceased was demanding her money from Kabogozza that sparked a quarrel between the two where she was later stabbed on the head and strangled to death by one Kabogozza Mustafa and transported the body to the valley of Nkokojeru Lc1 where it was discovered by locals in the morning.
Immediately they reported the matter to Bombo police station as they also responded in time, a case of murder by stabbing was registered, visited the scene and documented it by a team of soco and homicide, Mustafa Kabogozza was arrested, some exhibits were recovered from the scene, statements were recorded from relevant witnesses and body conveyed to Mulago city mortuary for postmortem examination.
