At least 3 killed in attack blamed on separatist rebels in Cameroon

 

In Cameroon's southwest, a recent incident attributed to separatist rebels resulted in the loss of at least three lives. Witnesses reported that armed militants intercepted vehicles,shot at passengers, and set cars on fire during an early morning attack on Thursday.

Tragically, two individuals lost their lives when their vehicle was set ablaze, while a third victim was fatally shot. Distressed residents gathered around the remains of a burnt car in the village of Muea, located in the South West region. In a somber scene, two men retrieved a body wrapped in a blanket.

This attack occurred shortly after schools had reopened following an extended holiday period. #Cameroon
