KISORO: A 31-year-old man, Elias Kabeni, handed himself in to Kisoro Central Police Station after killing his 5-year-old son, Junior Aloysius.
The two lived in Matyazo village, Kisoro district. Allegedly, during a visit to his mother, Kabeni took his son and killed him on the way home. He then surrendered to the police on August 29, 2023.
According to the Kigezi Region Police Spox, Elly Maate, the suspect's trousers had bloodstains. It was revealed that an argument with his wife about the child's biological father led to the tragic incident. The police registered a murder case, reference number 54/29/08/2023.
