President Tshisekedi extends last chance for peace to rebel groups in Ituri and Northern Kivu regions.

 

President Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has given a final opportunity for peace to rebel groups in the Ituri and Northern Kivu regions. 

He urged them to lay down their arms and participate in the disarmament and reintegration effort. 

President Tshisekedi appealed to those causing unrest in these provinces, emphasizing that the government is genuinely offering a last chance for a peaceful resolution to the remaining rebel factions. #DRC
