A tragic incident occurred as a migrant boat, predominantly carrying migrants from Senegal, capsized near Cape Verde in the Atlantic Ocean.
Over 60 individuals are believed to have lost their lives. The boat had set sail from Senegal on July 10 with 101 passengers, and 38 people were saved on Tuesday.
Senegal's foreign ministry reported that the survivors are now on the island of Sal in Cape Verde, where arrangements are being made for their return to Senegal. Among the survivors, there was also one person from Guinea-Bissau. #CapeVerde #Senegal
