Medical professionals in Sudan engage in a strike due to inadequate pay and unfavorable working circumstances.

Medical staff in North Kordofan state, Sudan, have been on a five-day strike, pressing for owed payments and better conditions.

The strike at El-Obayed hospital affects emergency, trauma facilities, and partially impacts dialysis centers, gynecology, and obstetrics services.

The doctors are protesting due to inadequate transportation, insufficient medical personnel, delayed payments spanning roughly 10 months, and unfavorable work environments.
