The couple had been experiencing marital problems and were sleeping in separate rooms. The police spokesman, Fred Enanga, stated that the suspect accused his wife of cheating on him, leading to the violent act.
Kyeyune is now in police custody, charged with murder, and could face a life sentence if found guilty. Enanga condemned this instance of domestic violence and urged the public to report such cases regardless of age, gender, or social status.
