President Biden will sign a declaration on Monday to lay out a public landmark regarding Emmett Till and his mom, Mamie Till-Mobley, the White House reported Sunday.
The landmark will be laid out at three destinations in Illinois and Mississippi.
The White House has previously discussed the political ramifications of this, with the press secretary saying it integrates with the organization's attention on social equality and telling the "complete" history of America.
