Concerns Mount as MP Muhammad Ssegirinya's Health Deteriorates, Stomach Swells

The health condition of Member of Parliament for Kawempe South, Muhammad Ssegirinya, has taken a turn for the worse, leading to his re-admission to Nsambya Hospital. Ssegirinya's health challenges became increasingly complex after he experienced swelling in his stomach, prompting urgent medical attention.

The legislator, who recently underwent treatment in the Netherlands, revealed the severity of his health issues, stating, "I am suffering from skin cancer and have lung infections. If I did not come to the hospital in time, I would die in 6 months. Even my liver has swellings which doctors say should be cut."

Ssegirinya expressed frustration with the ongoing complications, as new health issues continue to emerge during his treatment. He detailed the medical procedures he has undergone, including an endoscopy and various tests aimed at identifying the nature of the wounds and swellings on his liver.

"They keep piling on more diseases, each time they come with a new development. I am frustrated. They have performed an endoscopy, and several tests to determine the wounds and swellings on the liver," Ssegirinya disclosed.

The revelation of the legislator's deteriorating health has sparked concern among his constituents and fellow members of parliament. Messages of support and well-wishes have flooded social media platforms, with many expressing hope for his swift recovery.
