South Africa holds State funeral for Zulu Prince

The state funeral of Mangosuthu Buthelezi, a Zulu prince and influential politician in South Africa, took place in the town of Ulundi.

Thousands of mourners gathered to pay their respects to Buthelezi, who passed away at the age of 95.

As a founder of the Inkatha Freedom Party, Buthelezi was a controversial figure due to his longstanding rivalry and armed conflicts with the African National Congress (ANC).

His clashes with the ANC resulted in the deaths of 20,000 people and the displacement of hundreds of thousands.

Despite this history, President Cyril Ramaphosa called for unity and reconciliation during the funeral, emphasizing the importance of focusing on the future.
