The appointed leader of Niger's military, Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine, arrived in Chad for an undisclosed visit described as a "working visit" by the Chadian government.
Following a meeting with Chad's President Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, Zeine conveyed a message of friendship and solidarity from Niger's government.
During the meeting, Zeine emphasized that Niger was in a transitional phase and discussed the intricacies of the situation.
