Five individuals lost their lives and eight sustained injuries after a building crumbled in Dakar, the capital of Senegal.
The reason behind the collapse and the number of occupants during the incident remain uncertain. The tragedy occurred in Rufisque, a suburb of Dakar, on Wednesday morning.
According to an official from the interior ministry present at the scene, firefighters recovered five deceased bodies from the debris, while eight survivors were transported to a hospital. An investigation is in progress to ascertain the cause of the collapse.
