25-Year-Old Killed in Bushenyi for laughing at fellow's Old Boda Boda


Police in Bushenyi are currently searching for a motorcycle rider who allegedly killed his colleague after an argument sparked by a comment about the condition of his motorcycle. 

The incident occurred at Omukasusano trading center in Kitagata parish, Kyeizoobasubcounty, Bushenyi district. Nathan Byakureka, aged 25, reportedly made a remark about the motorcycle belonging to his colleague, Felix Twebaze, which led to an altercation.

According to Police spokesperson Fred Enanga, Byakureka's comment about Twebaze's old motorcycle angered him, resulting in Twebaze slapping Byakureka twice on the head and then hitting him with a brick as he attempted to flee the scene. Byakureka later succumbed to his injuries, while Twebaze fled and is currently evading capture.

Enanga emphasized the need to avoid such confrontations, describing the incident as unnecessary and avoidable. He assured the public that efforts are underway to locate and apprehend Twebaze, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation despite its seemingly trivial origin.
