BREAKING! First Son Gen Muhoozi Launches Political Party

General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has officially launched a new political party, signaling a significant shift in the country's political dynamics. The announcement comes as the culmination of the MK Movement's evolution from a grassroots initiative into a formal political entity.

The MK Movement, which originated in April 2022 as a spontaneous expression of appreciation for Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba's military service and that of his comrades, has since evolved into a formidable force in Ugandan politics. Over the past 17 months, the movement has actively mobilized citizens towards the goal of national unity, peace, and stability.

In a statement released by the MK Movement, it was emphasized that national unity, peace, and stability are paramount for the country's development and progress. The movement believes that achieving these goals requires a patriotic citizenry that is organized and empowered to contribute to the nation's socio-economic development.

Furthermore, the statement highlights the importance of citizens' duties and obligations, particularly the duty to be patriotic and loyal to Uganda. It asserts that promoting the well-being of the nation should be a fundamental responsibility of all citizens.

As a result, the MK Movement has transformed itself into the Patriotic League of Uganda, with the aim of fostering a spirit of good citizenship, national pride, and unity among Ugandans. The newly formed political party seeks to revive these values and work towards building a stronger and more prosperous Uganda.

The Patriotic League of Uganda was officially launched on Wednesday, February 7th, at the party offices in Naguru. With Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba at its helm, the party is poised to play a prominent role in shaping the country's future trajectory. As political dynamics continue to evolve, all eyes will be on the Patriotic League of Uganda as it charts its course in the nation's political arena.
