Tears as Pastor Bugingo Bodyguard is Laid to Rest, Leaves Behind Five Months Old Baby

The late Richard Muhumuza, Pastor Aloysius Bugingo's devoted bodyguard who tragically lost his life in a gun attack alongside the pastor, has this Friday been laid to rest at his grandparents' residence in Ssembabule. The emotional event unfolded after the harrowing incident that unfoldedon Tuesday evening, leaving Muhumuza dead and Pastor Bugingo with minor injuries, subsequently discharged from Mulago Hospital.

The heart-wrenching attack has left Muhumuza's family shattered, particularly his wife, Jovia, who gave birth via c-section just five months ago. Pastor Bugingo disclosed that Jovia had been residing at his home for the past five months, receiving care and support from Bugingo's wife, Suzan Makula.

Expressing his grief over the loss, Pastor Bugingo eulogized Muhumuza as a brother, emphasizing the irreplaceable void left by the fallen hero. "I lost someone who is irreplaceable," he lamented. Bugingo went on to commend Muhumuza's dedication, labeling him a hero who sacrificed his life for a cause.

In an emotionally charged vow, Pastor Bugingo pledged unwavering support for Muhumuza's family, particularly his five young daughters and a five-month-old baby left behind. "They will never lack anything. I will do everything for them until my last day in the world," Bugingo declared.

Despite the profound grief surrounding Muhumuza's death, Pastor Bugingo did not specify the cause behind Corporal Muhumuza's heroic sacrifice, leaving a lingering air of mystery surrounding the tragic incident.
