Busia Ssalongo Dies After a Night Out with Two Women

Police in Busia have launched an investigation into the mysterious death of a 55-year-old taxi driver and father of twins, Ssalongo Muhamad Mukungu. The incident occurred at Mwesigwa Guest House in Kisenyi A village, Busia Municipality, where Mukungu allegedly passed away after engaging in intimate activities with two women in a single night.

According to police spokesperson Fred Enanga, Mukungu entered the lodge with a female companion at around 8 pm on January 22, 2024, staying until 11 pm before escorting her back. Subsequently, he picked another woman to spend the rest of the night with. Tragically, Mukungu collapsed during the extended act of sexual pleasure and intimacy.

The second woman promptly alerted the guesthouse management, leading to police involvement and the transportation of Mukungu's body to Busia HCIV for postmortem examination.

Enanga explained that the postmortem report revealed Mukungu's cause of death as excessive orgasms, which caused blood vessels in the brain to rupture.

"Death can occur during consensual intercourse for a number of reasons, generally because of the physical strain of the activity or because of unusual extenuating circumstances or prescription drugs to treat erectile dysfunctions," Enanga stated.

He further emphasized that while the risk of cardiac death is higher as people age, young adults can also face sudden arrhythmic death syndrome or cardiomyopathies. Enanga encouraged individuals diagnosed with such conditions to consult cardiologists for advice on the associated risks of sexual activity, noting that the overall risk of fatal outcomes is very low.
