20-Year-Old Killed For Allegedly Having Affair With A Married Woman

The Kiboga Police have in custody one suspect, identified as Kato Isma, in connection with the murder of an unidentified individual suspected to have been involved in a romantic affair with his wife.

The incident occurred on 11/01/2024 at 08:00am in Kakunyu D village, Bukomero, within Kiboga district.

Racheal Kawala, the PRO of Wamala Police Region, says that the 20-year-old suspect is a resident of Nansana, Wakiso District, and is the son of Kazibwe Fred, a resident of Nakasengere village, Nakasozi S/county, Kiboga District.

The identity of the deceased person was still unknown by press time.

According to Kawala, preliminary findings suggest that on 11-01-2024, around 0800 hrs, Isma used a goose rope to strangle the victim and hit his head with a stone killing him instantly. The motive behind the murder is believed to be suspicion of an illicit relationship between the victim and Isma’s wife.

Upon receiving the call, the police arrived at the scene and recovered the exhibits, including the goose rope and the stone used in the murder. The body of the deceased has been transported to Kiboga hospital mortuary for a postmortem examination.

Kato Isma is in custody at Kiboga Central Police Station, and efforts are ongoing to ascertain the identity of the deceased individual.
