Ghana's President Akufo-Addo calls for united front on slavery reparations

In a passionate call for justice, President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana has appealed to leaders from Africa and the Caribbean to come together and demand reparations for the historical injustices of slavery and colonialism.

President Akufo-Addo emphasized that the impact of slavery on Africa's progress cannot be undone by mere financial compensation, but he firmly believes that addressing this issue is crucial and can no longer be ignored by the international community.

Speaking at a reparations conference attended by African and Caribbean leaders, the President highlighted the need for unity and the formulation of a comprehensive plan to guide African nations and the diaspora in their pursuit of reparations.

The conference aims to foster a collective front, demonstrating the validity of the demand for justice and paving the way for a brighter future.
