Nguema sworn in as Gabon's transitional president

 

In Libreville, the capital of Gabon, soldiers convened to commemorate Nguema's inauguration as president.

Brice Oligui Nguema, who led a coup, has officially taken the oath as Gabon's interim president. 

This televised ceremony, was presided over by constitutional court judges, aimed to establish the junta's authority. Nguema received a standing ovation from military officers and officials in attendance.  #Gabon
