This assault occurred in the Saya village of the Ikara local government area on Friday night as worshippers had congregated for prayers.
In addition to the seven deaths, two individuals sustained injuries and were subsequently hospitalized.
The victims included five worshippers shot inside the mosque during prayer, while the other two were targeted within the village community, according to local residents.
