The military junta in Niger has selected Ali Maman Lamine Zein, a former finance minister and economist, to become the prime minister of the interim government. This move comes alongside adjustments to the nation's military leadership. 

Zein has a history of roles, including finance minister during President Mamadou Tandja's administration, and positions within the African Development Bank. #Niger
