Residents and opposition groups in Ethiopia Accuse government troops of killing civilians

Residents and opposition groups in Ethiopia's Oromia region are accusing government troops of killing civilians as they battle militias in the Amhara region.

In West Shoa, family members of victims claimed that government forces were responsible for the deaths of at least 10 civilians, including four from the same family. Despite the presence of the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) in the area, residents noted that there was no prior conflict between OLA and government forces before the reported attack.

Additionally, a university student recounted an incident where he and three others were apprehended by security forces from their village. Unfortunately, only he survived as the security forces fired upon them.
