Sources stated on Tuesday that negotiations regarding the cost and techno-commercial details of India's proposed acquisition of three Scorpene submarines and 26 Rafale-M fighter jets from France are not yet complete.
India's state-run shipmanufacturer Mazagon Dock Limited (MDL) and French defence major naval Gathering solidified a structure settlement on July 6 for the Scorpene submarine task yet talks on cost and other specialized subtleties are yet to be solidified, they said.
On the acquisition of the Rafale-M, the naval variant of the jet, sources said the arrangement will be fixed once the techno-commervial negotiations are finished up.
