MTG And Matt Gaetz Sue Two Blue Cities Over First Amendment Violations

 

The firebrand pair allege Anaheim and Riverside encumbered their freedom of speech when their America First rallies in the cities were cancelled under pressure from activists and local government officials.

The lawsuit, which also names 10 liberal advocacy groups, details how the city leaders coerced private venues to halt the rallies - including threatening to revoke one venue’s permit.

Gaetz And Taylor Greene are now seeking an injunction to ban cities from “coercing private venues from entering into facilities use contracts with Plaintiffs for future political rallies.”
