Most Germans Dissatisfied With Government — Poll

Dissatisfaction with the ruling traffic light coalition is prevalent even among the voters who support the three constituent parties, according to the survey conducted by Institut Forsa and published on Tuesday.

77% of respondents said they were wholly or somewhat dissatisfied with the government, and 61% agreed it was acting unprofessionally and chaotically. In comparison, 52% of voters polled who support the Social Democrats Party (SPD) that Chancellor Scholz belongs to are dissatisfied.

As many as 18% of the respondents said they would even vote for the right-wing populist Alternative for Germany party, putting it level with the SPD ruling party.
