There has been a tragic incident that occurred earlier today in Nansana Municipality, resulting in the death of a young child.
According to preliminary investigations by the Nansana Traffic Police, the incident took place in front of Happy Tots Kindergarten and Day Care. opposite Opportunity Bank at approximately 8am.
While vehicle registration number UAU 433U was dropping off children at the entrance of the kindergarten, a one-year and eight-month-old named Kawesi Terry tragically went behind the vehicle unnoticed.
Regrettably, as the driver began to reverse the vehicle, the child was struck, and the impact proved fatal.
