KAMPALA, (PT) : Uganda Police Force (UPF) representative Fred Enanga is one of the 81 Ugandans that President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will grant awards during the current year's Heroes' Day festivity.


On Thursday, June 09, 2022, Uganda will remember Heroes' Day, a yearly occasion that celebrates residents who have made astoundingly remarkable commitments locally and all around the world, as per an authority government explanation.


It's going to be celebrated under the theme "AN OPPORTUNITY TO CONSOLIDATE  OUR EFFORTS IN SECURING UGANDA, THE 2022 HEROES'

Herooes' Day Anniversary festivities will occur at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds, with President Museveni as the chief Guest.


In accordance with the National Honors and Awards Act, 2001, the Office of the President and the Chancery or Presidential Awards Committee have listed the names of 81 Ugandans who will be granted awards at Kololo.

The 81 were supported by the Presidential Awards Committee from the rundown of those proposed. Of the 81, 34 will get the 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee Medal, in acknowledgment of their extraordinary assistance and loyality to the country.

Among others, Enanga will be granted the Golden Jubilee Award for his excellent job and remarkable help in the UPF as well with respect to his loyality to Uganda.


Enanga recently headed the Economic Crimes Department, CID Commander for Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP), Commandant Land Protection Police Unit, and as Commissioner CID Administration and Training. A sum of 17 awardees will be given the Nalubaale Medal for their commitment to the political improvement of Uganda.
