OPINION : What is the strategic interest of Mr. Museveni in coffee?- Charles Rwomushana
Political Analyst Charles Rwomushana

Charles Rwomushana asks "What is the strategic interest of Mr. Museveni in coffee?".

"He has passed the Coffee Law. What is the intention of the law? He wants to politically control coffee. He is going to determine who grows coffee, who processes coffee and who exports coffee" Rwomushana adds.

"In order to maximize foreign currency, Mr. Museveni is looking at how he'll control the coffee sector. You need to study other sectors like fishing, and you see who is controlling them. It's the deep state" Rwomushana uncovered.

Muwanga Kivumbi asserts that what is happening to coffee started with maize and fish. There are four contracts he is looking at that have an arrangement like the coffee deal.

Even the way they channelled the contracts for these dams is similar to the coffee agreement according to Kivumbi.

Charles Rwomushana asserts  that Mr. Museveni is more interested in foreign policy. "His survival or downfall will be more in foreign policy than domestic policy. That's why you see many diplomats and refugees coming to the country" Rwomushana explains.

Everything was undivulged in morning  breeze program at NBS TV.
