The deceased, identified as Jackline Arinaitwe a resident of Katokori village, Katanda subcounty, Rubirizi district is an Anglican believer who was making pilgrimage in honor of the faithful martyrs who died for their faith.

Rev. Benard Mujuni confirmed that he had led a group of 103 Anglican pilgrims fro west Ankole diocese who set off on 20th, May and had 10 stop overs.

After bypassing the Catholic shrines however, one of their pilgrims aged 49 years collapsed and died.

Her fellow pilgrims think the deceased might have collapsed due to high blood pressure.
