Passenger boats docked at Lake Victoria on the Kalangala Islands with an unknown number of passengers.
Preliminary reports from fishermen indicate that the boat could have broken down when the nets got stuck in its engine. Moses Musiitwa, a fisherman in the Kasenyi area, says the boat formed between Lukuba and the Misenyi island after being hit by strong winds in the lake.
