Finance Ministry Presents Projected budget 2022/23

The Ministry of Finance has presented a projected budget of UGX 43tn for the 2022/23 financial year.


This represents a UGX 1.6tn decline from the 2021/22 financial year budget.

Only Health workers and science teachers expected to get salary enhancements.

Duplicate Agencies/Authorities to be merged

Donor funds to decrease

Revenue to come from domestic revenue, borrowing and donor funds.
